THE LIST OF BALANCE FROM THE PURCHASES LEDGER SHOWS A TOTAL OF $14,530 AND THAT FROM THE SALES LEDGER A TOTAL OF $216,580. PLEASE SHOW ME HOW IT WILL BE POSTED IN THE CONTROL ACCOUNTS.

How to post in control account

First open Purchase or creditor control account and credit it with the balance b/f $14,530.

Second open a sales or debtors control account and debit it with the bal b/f 216,580.
